Dona Matilde has always had the reputation for good wines though being hard to work.

The project Quinta Dona Matilde was born in 2007 but with the same terroir and knowledge of generations.

Intense aroma, initially smoky from aging in wood, followed by a tropical and warm character with pineapple, mango and peach

FLAVOUR

In the mouth it is a wine of great elegance where the smoked aromas of aging in wood predominate and which are balanced with the acidity that gives it freshness and a very long aftertaste

toda tornando o vinho muito

Intense and complex initially to mint, eucalyptus and blackberry and then to dried fruits like fig and black plum.

FLAVOUR

In the mouth the wine is full bodied with strong tannins but at the same time well rounded and elegant. A long lasting aftertaste.

Deluxe Double Room 1

Double room with a traditional Portuguese D.Maria-style double bed, opening onto a gardened balcony with a breathtaking view of the Douro River and the surrounding mountains. The room has a ensuite bathroom with a shower, air-conditioner and heating. The total area is 17 sqm.
